Having known this author for over 30 years, I anxiously awaited her first novel. I was not disappointed. Now, I await the sequel with the same anxiety. Cindy captured my attention from the beginning and held it throughout the book. My normal genre is romance (which was the theme woven throughout the book), but her inclusion of the many sights and places I'll never get to see brought those places vividly to me through her captivating descriptions. I will definitely be reading the sequel.Product details

Keeping Faith is one of those books that you hate to put down but don't want to finish too soon. I found myself turning each page trying to anticipate what would happen next; usually I was wrong. The descriptive work is great - from East Texas to Tuscany. The author's knowledge of wine is very impressive. The characters are believable. I can't wait to sit down with the sequel and a good glass of wine-maybe something the author recommends.

Keeping Faith, by Cindy Bradford is a fast pace novel with a riveting plot. The personal demons Patrick O'Brien has to conquer will keep you turning pages. Skillfully crafted characters cause each exciting scene to spring to life. Keeping Faith presents a remarkable fusion of romance, mortal upheaval, and ultimate victory.
This book was recommended to me by a friend who never steers me wrong in regard to literary selections. She was spot on this time as well. Keeping Faith is one of those books that makes you feel that you can't turn the page fast enough to see what's going to happen next. It was the perfect blend of romance, travel, human relationships and inner turmoil. Ms. Bradford certainly has a way of pulling the reader in to whatever locale she is describing. I cannot wait for the sequel. She is definitely an author whose work is going to be sought after
Cindy Bradford's first novel is a real gem. Patrick O'Brien's journey and internal struggles creates a fascinating story that takes the reader down an entertaining path. After being abused by a priest as a child, the story follows Patrick as a young adult as he struggles in relationships and in his own journey to become a priest. The reader gets to follow Patrick through Italy, as well as other places, and encounter colorful characters such as Carmella and Stefano. Who wouldn't want to go to Tuscani to meet them and experience their way of life? So get this book, pour yourself a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy!
This book touched on all of my emotions. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling...sorrow & compassion...laughter...crying...& shock. It grasped my attention on the first page and never let me go. There were so many interesting turns in this book that not only kept me from putting it down but made me long for the sequel. And, the places that Patrick traveled were so interesting. Hurry, Cindy Bradford, we need to see what happens with Faith and Patrick at long last. I am just amazed that this is only your first book to publish. This was well written.
Very disorganized start and often going off in irrelevant tangents. I can't tell from the kindle description, but wonder if this is a young adult book. Story and plot was decent, but getting there at times was frustrating and painful. Also aggrivating was the lack of attention to period reference in medicine, fashion, and technology. Definately will NOT be reading sequal
